VCON was awarded the most sophisticated glass fiber reinforced concrete in Thailand in 2013 for Emquartier, one of the most luxurious lifestyle mall in Bangkok.
The new terminal will be situated on around 400,000 square meters of land within Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport’s premises at a cost of 42 billion Thai Baht.VCON worked closely with the Airport Authority of Thailand and China State Construction using VCON Hollow-Core Slabs to overcome scheduling challenges earlier than anticipated.

The ICONIC Multimedia Water Features, one of the most stand-out features of ICONSIAM, the longest and greatest dancing fountain show in Southeast Asia sitting on top of VCON Hollow Core Slabs.
At more than 60,000 square meters, IKEA Bang Yai in Thailand is the first IKEA in the world to be fully integrated with a shopping center. The project is so far the largest store in Southeast Asia. The initial design of this structure was bridge girder, through VCON’s innovation bridge girder was replaced with VCON’s hollow core slabs which helped shortened construction time to from 1 year to 3 months.
VCON is proud to be a part of Simon Property’s first venture in Bangkok. The designers wanted materials of the luxury outlet to evoke the connection with the surrounding landscape, while providing a lasting structure that reflects the Thai culture. VCON GFRC was chosen for it durability, the natural variations and beauty exhibited in each specific panel.
Located in the heart of Bangkok, the 60,000 square meters grade A office building will consist of 30-storey and 6 basement levels. The building will comprise the main office for the Singapore-based bank’s operations in Thailand. The project is targeting Green Mark Platinum. VCON hollow core slab was an ideal solution to achieving construction efficiency.
Mahanakorn is a 77-storey, high-rise complex located in Bangkok’s Central Business District. The development is the most ambitious complex of contemporary architecture and urbanism in Thailand, including the tallest building in Bangkok. VCON was awarded a precast concrete supply contract.
