Established in 1994, the UNCCD is the only legally binding international agreement dedicated to addressing desertification, land degradation, and the impacts of drought. The Convention brings together governments, businesses, research institutions, and civil society to advance sustainable land management and foster resilient communities.

As a leading manufacturer of hollow core precast concrete systems, VCON believes innovation in construction can play an important role in supporting these objectives. Compared with conventional cast-in-place concrete construction, VCON's hollow core system reduces concrete consumption by more than 40%, significantly lowering the demand for raw materials.
